There are two main steps in dental cleanings: scraping away plaque build-up and polishing the teeth. One of our skilled practitioners will use specialised handheld tools to remove the plaque from the surface of the teeth and between them.
They will then polish the surface of the teeth to remove stains, texture and other imperfections. Your cleaning will end with a fluoride treatment left on your teeth for over a minute. This helps strengthen the teeth and prevent decay.
